UX @ Capriza
At Capriza, our mission is to make life at work simpler through mobility.
Most recently, I led the design of Capriza's end-to-end mobile experience, focusing on the WorkSimple app, Micro Apps, Micro App Templates, their complex relationships, and everything in between. Over my time there, I spent time on each component of the product, from the Capriza Dashboard to the Capriza Designer, even diving into building customer micro apps to get insight into the build lifecycle and the end product.
Capriza Dashboard
I orchestrated a platform-wide facelift of the Capriza Dashboard over several releases, uniting its look and feel across pages with a style system that would become the start of a consistent visual brand I implemented across other Capriza products.
Working closely with the Director of Product Management and the VP of Research and Development, who personally built the tool, I designed new features to manage customers' micro apps, users and groups, and monitor errors and performance.
Capriza Designer Tool
As Capriza's lead mobile designer, I worked with a small team of developers to extend our mobile UI library with customizable widgets and rich styling options to transform source systems into beautiful, usable mobile experiences.
WorkSimple App
WorkSimple version 15 introduced a new home page for live cards, a new look and feel, and improved tab navigation, slick animations, and other best UX/UI practices.
Customer Micro Apps
I spent four months assisting our Customer Success team as our first customer-facing designer on micro app projects, helping 12 customers design and develop 23+ micro apps. The goal was to improve the quality and success of new micro apps through design, but I was also motivated to take on this role to experience the entire project lifecycle firsthand, build empathy across various use cases, and identify product opportunities to help customers reach desired outcomes.
This collaboration was fruitful enough that Customer Success formalized micro app design as part of their implementation process and took on a design hire to fill this new role as I returned back to product design duties full time. My time working directly with customers became a central touchstone experience for me throughout the Micro App Templates project.
